The location was in Buffalo Bayou between Sam Houston Tollway and Independence Pkwy. The soil was collected near the Old River along Launch Rd (Old River Terrace, Channelview TX). The approximate latitude and longitude coordinates are: 29°46’54.2″ N 95°06’03.3″ W. The soil was collected on August 30, 2016 around 9:30 PM. The collected sample was clay-like and moist because of the recent rainy weather.
