Cedar Ridge Gold Course is located at 200 E 900 N Cedar City, UT 84720 (37.691918, -113.059078). The soil sample is believed to be Kocuria marinadue to the 16s rDNA, morphology, and many other assays that were conducted on the bacterial culture. Kocuria indicawas also another species found to be closely related to the bacterial culture.
