My soil sample was collected on a rainy day before noon near Clear Lake and Webster area, but in the city of Houston for the actual location. There is a testing laboratory in Dixie Farm Road on the south side of Interstate 45. The building is called Anderson & Associates Consulting Metallurgical Engineers and Testing Laboratory, and is surrounded by a lot of land with several utility poles lined up making a small path for water runoff when it rains. The sample was collected from digging a 10-12 cm hole, and it was a little wet but I patted dry with a paper towel before introducing it into the collection tube.
