A soil sample was collected near Brays Bayou where upstream a Produce Warehouse is located. During the five weeks the sample in the PX- Carbon Selective Media there was a yellow tint. For weeks 4 and 5 MP-Carbon Selective Media a slight yellow tint appeared meaning cells that don’t degrade were dying off leaving the wanted cells. The sample showed for PX showed tolerance, but no degradation. The sample for MP-CSM showed degradation and hydrolysis of MP.
