The soil was taken near the Religion center on the UH campus due to the many animals like possums, stray cats, and raccoons living around that certain area. With the construction going on close to the site, I felt there would be more dirt from all the digging. Over the 5 weeks, the colors of the test tubes became clear but CSM PX persisted with a yellow color longer compared to the other 3 test tubes. My soil sample however was intolerant to the pesticides as all the bacterial content was killed off but it was able to hydrolyze the organophosphorus compound present.
