A soil sample was collected from farmland in Katy, TX. The soil was analyzed for five weeks and found to contain bacteria capable of paraoxon toleration in my CSM and SSM tubes. My soil sample was incapable of paraoxon degradation based on the agar plate results. Approximately 4,123 colonies were formed on the agar plate. My sample was incapable of toleration or degradation of methyl parathion.
